One of the unique elements of psychotherapy that I enjoy and invite clients into is the vibrancy of our natural capacities of mindfulness and bodyfulness.  Sometimes this vibrancy can support the shifting of stuck patterns, such as challenges in relationships.  As a result, clients might notice a greater quality of life unfolding for them throughout their therapeutic journey.  I utilize the client’s present moment experiences, including what arises in session, to explore current dilemmas and sticking points in the client’s life, and to weave together historical events and rites of passages.  I invite clients to bring their whole person into our sessions—mind, body, heart, and spirit.

I completed my M.A. in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University (2014-2017) and a two year mentorship in applied somatic psychology with the Brook Institute (2022-2024).  I have experience working with life transitions, personal and relational satisfaction, and patterns arising from early life experiences.  Currently, I am a doctoral student through the California Institute of Integral Studies studying Somatic Psychology with a focus on early embodied attachment and ancestral reconnection.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in social service settings with people experiencing homelessness, violence and extreme mental health states, as well as doing outdoor physical work such as tree-replanting and forest fire prevention.  I enjoy living in the lush Green Mountains of Vermont with my daughter and spouse on our small homestead with chickens, dogs, and a big garden.  Listening to birds and streams, and breathing in the nourishing air of this landscape brings me great pleasure.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado LPC.0020171 and in Vermont I am rostered as a Non Licensed Non Certified Psychotherapist 097.0134434.
